In the Bible as our only rule of faith & practice
-
In a regenerated & immersed church membership
-
In the autonomy of the local church
-
In the priesthood of the believer
-
In the separation of church & state
-
In immersion & the Lord's supper, our only ordinances
-
In separation, ethically & ecclesiastically
OUR PASTOR
Pastor Rod Albert came to Holden Baptist Temple in 2012, and he has been in full-time pastoral ministry since 1989. A Missouri native, he and his wife Lisa have two sons, both of whom are students at Pensacola Christian College. Each week, Pastor Albert preaches sermons rooted in the truth of the Scripture and challenges our congregation to pursue a closer walk with God and each other.
OUR CONGREGATION
When you visit Holden Baptist Temple, you will meet fellow believers of all ages and backgrounds. Any given week, our pews are filled with blue-collar and white-collar workers, grandparents and grandchildren, retirees and college students. We are a small congregation, but we are blessed with a healthy energy grounded in our diversity of life experiences. Most of our members live in the Holden/Kingsville area, but others have come from as far as Warrensburg or the Kansas City suburbs.
